Risk

What I Learned From Risk

I learned only a little from Risk because I play strategy games anyways (not that playing it was a bad idea). It was fun and pitted me against other players than my siblings, but I think there was a little too much luck involved. In strategy I used the conservative approach where I didn't attack every turn and thus saved some pieces for later. I also found an alliance with Monzer (who was the most powerful) was good for saving me and defeating Marty. At the end of the game it was just us three and I think we would have beat Marty eventually. This game was good to teach people how tough it is to actually be a leader and how much hangs in the balance on a single spin and how using strategy works better than rushing in head on.
