A book, by Maxine Hong Kingston, assigned for an English seminar. It's about the ghosts of the author, which means either her ancestor's spirits, her own problems, and the general non-Chinese populace. It's a collection of connected short stories. Some are good and some are not so good. A good one is about a girl who is trained in the clouds to be a warrior and proceeds to defeat the emporer. There are also boring ones like the old lady who comes to America, has a few crises, and then dies. 3 of 5.
