I read the Wal-Mart, two-books-for-a-dollar, abridged version of this H.G. Wells classic. It was only about 100 pages but it was a good read. The story kept me reading as the time traveller discovered the situation of the current world and also some of the history of the past 800,000 years. 4 of 5.
