This book didn't really become interesting until I had to analyze it for a report. After reading it I thought it was just a typical boring classic. Then I looked at it closer and found the life lessons it taught and how Nathaniel Hawthorne brought the characters to life so I could relate and experience their feelings. 3 of 5.
