A Bridge Between Us

A book by Julie Shigekuni about four generations of Japanese-American women. She does a good job of making the book interesting by shifting back and forth between characters' points of view. She also leaves questions that only the next narrator will be able to answer and other links between them, such as the similarities between a woman's relative's life and her own life. It started of a bit slowly, but it got very interesting at the end. There's also some hallucinating in it, which I didn't expect but enjoyed. 4 of 5.
