The Awakening by Kate Chopin was assigned for English this year. It's about the summer of an upper class woman who awakens to find her life is really boring. She goes through a few stages of awakening and eventually she completely awakens. It wasn't that exciting of a book and I like to have more than just depth in books. 2 of 5.
