A man so precious we held to our heart,
Gone now, we are apart.
He loved us all and shared his time with you and me.
We have to stay and be brave or try to be.
Oceans of tears we have cried.
None of us could believe he had died.
Our memories of him are to keep and so dear.
We'll store them in our hearts to keep near.
He sang us songs and helped us out.
Kept our souls balanced without a doubt.
He married our sweet Lanie, our sis.
We stand behind her through all this.
Let us move on into the future if we can.
It’s hard because we all loved this man.
