BEGINNINGS

• A baby is born.
• A mother is torn.
• She looks upon his face.
• Hoping in life, he can take his place.
• Take this tiny little man,
• And love him as hard as you can.
• Stay close by his side.
• Look at that smile a mile wide.
• Teach him the difference between wrong and right.
• But, beware, don't do it with a bite.
• Nurture him and let him grow.
• Your planting a wonderful seed, you know.
• As the years go along.....
• Fill his heart with joy and song.
• Understand his heart's desire.
• Let him go, let him be, let him be a man you can admire.
• Some day he will be a full grown man.
• Then he will love you like no other can.
