Mike grew up with Danny and Rafe in Shelby TN. They treated her like
a
little sister and watched after her. Rafe's parents took her in after
her father was killed in a farming accident and her mother abandoned
her.
When both men enlisted it seemed natural for her to follow. When Rafe
was listed as dead she had thought her life had ended too. Although
she
knew he was in love with another woman, she knew her love was
stronger.
But she has never been able to bring herself to tell Rafe how she
