Major Texts of Minor Prophets

The Old Testament writings contain many enlightening texts that can help us in our daily life. Some of the most uplifting assurances as well as the most scathing rebukes are found in the record of the prophecies of what are considered the 'minor prophets'. They foretold of the coming Messiah and of the utter destruction of the corrupt cities of their day. They also foretold of the calamities that would befall the last generation of earth's history. Although they are coined 'minor' prophets, they each have a very significant message for our day. These messages are just as important to us if we would have them as any given by Isaiah, Jeremiah or Ezekiel. Here is an overview of these sometimes overlooked spiritual guides.
