Here's a brief history of my wonderful life.
I was born and raised in a small town in Wyoming of about 7000 called Lander which some of us locals began to call "Landiego". I loved this small town except for the fact that I was too well known among the young people there and soon developed a reputation for always getting into trouble. It was there that I met a girl from California and my son, James Joseph Bangert was conceived. He became a popular teenager in his school. In 1985, I moved to a small town in New Mexico. James grew up and became a man of the world in California. He met a nice girl named Patrica, and they had a beautiful daughter and named her Aine Elizabeth Bangert. They are now living in Apple Valley. Here is their first family photo, on Christmas of 2006. Here is a treat, PJ and Aine in their first photo set in 2007! Two years later, they had another child, Andrew James Joseph Bangert. Sadly, James' mother, Sharon, passed away in July of 2012. She will always be fondly remembered by family and friends as being a generous and loving mother and grandmother.
My father owned a contracting company called BOB RICE DRYWALL. I worked for my father as soon as I was old enough to push a mud pan along the floor. When I was seven years old he taught me to play the guitar.
When I was in college, I joined a local band in Alamogordo, NM called SPOOKED BY SILENCE! We recorded a few albums that were only released to radio stations and their DJs. I had been writing songs for some time and we recorded a couple of them. I produced a compilation CD called "Silence's Golden" that is now available to the public for a small copying fee (e-mail me @ terrythai10@yahoo.com). I now write my own songs and am currently producing a CD of these unique, alternative, country-flavored tunes. You can preview one of these tunes by e-mail if you would like to reserve a copy of the new CD or if you just write killer songs and would like to have them recorded and performed. I am always interested in helping young performers get started in the music business.
