Here are some of the e-mails that I have received from people that have visited my site:
I just want to say that not everyone is hateful. I am saddened that these two died feeling so low. I know at least one person who would have given them a chance. My love comes unconditionally. Everyone else's should as well! May God bless you two and have mercy on your souls.
I just want to say that I agree about remembering Eric and Dylan because they were victims too! I felt their pain ..I was ridiculed too. Not anymore though, but I still relate with them. How about you? Were you ridiculed too? If you are or were..then you could see how we're all connected! Well..i guess that's basically it, but i just wanted to say that I liked your page.:o)
Your page has been really great for me to read. I've been searching the
web for people who are certain that 15 people died, not 13. My name is
Krista, and I go to Columbine high school in Littleton (as if you didn't
know where it was). but I was friends with Eric and Dylan, and the
whole media fiasco has really hurt me more than just the deaths of two
of my friends should. I think it really stinks at how their friends
weren't allowed to greive, but all of the other victim's friends had
ample time to tell their stories... anyway, i'd appreciate an e-mail
back explaining why you have felt the need to create a page for them,
i've been really touched.
Hey, cool web site. I want to say thank you for remembering Eric and Dylan.
One thing though, could you add more pics. of them? Thanks
It has been so important to me to learn that people can relate to Eric
and Dylan and how they were treated. So many people put on faces and
acts and don't think about the other person's feelings. So many people
are willing to lie to someone, to hurt someone, and to push someone
around just so they feel better, so they feel like they are better than
someone else. And I can't stand anymore of that, but I still have
another year of high school left, in a school where almost everyone
knows I was friends with Eric and Dylan. But I will never back down and
I will never give in, and I will not kill them. to me that would be too
easy, because then they'd never learn how it FELT to be me, to be made
fun of, mistrusted, and mistreated.
I looked though the page you had done and it was good but very weird. What
really got me was that i just bought the cd Oleander bc i really liked that
song Why am i here. it did make me think about the whole thing and its just
weird, but i liked it.
Some people have only served to prove the ignorance that I talk about in their e-mails to me. This person is a prime example:
Who ever you are, I think it is very sick that you have a website remembering
the two that killed all those students. Regardless of who's fault it is..the
parents, or whether they had been abused or not! They should NOT be
immortalized. They were no heroes, and you should focus on all the other
kids and the teacher that died. Those kids and the teacher that died, died
trying to help others from the two boys Dylan and Eric! I will make sure
that no one reads your web site!
My Response:
And yet another one:
Look! I am 41 years old, no wonder people are talking about your site! I
live not far from the school, and everyone is talking about your site in a
bad way, so lady you get a life! You are the one that has a LIMITED life.
So what you were abused or whatever you claim! Think about the victims of
this! It figures that you would have a site like that to killers! You are
rude to everyone who has an opinion different from yours!
My Response:
It doesnt matter to me how old you are. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my site. I am just trying to help people see this in a different perspective. This is the reason why they did what they did and there is nothing that you can say that will change it. You may not like it but that is what I feel and it is obviously the reason. I dont know how you can say that I am rude to everyone that has a different opinion than mine because that is absolutely not true. You are the one mailing me and telling me that what i think is not right. I respect your opinion but you dont respect mine. I must say that you are the rude one sir and it is evident in one of the statements that you made "So what you were abused or whatever you claim". Do you have no compassion? That was a very ignorant thing to say. Obviously i can relate to Eric and Dylan because I went through alot of the same things that they had to go through. Does that make me a bad person for feeling for someone who has been hurt? I dont know why you are getting so mad at me for this. I felt that it was the right thing to do and i had every right to do it. If you dont like it then i guess all i can suggest is that you stay with your own opinoin and not look at my site if it offends you that much. Another thing that I would like to bring up is that you keep acting as if I dont give a shit about the victims. That is absolutely not true. I think that what they did was an awful thing that would never solve anything or get rid of the feelings that they felt. I wish that they didnt do what they did and I am very sorry that innocent people had to die because of a smaller few. Just because you live close to Columbine doesnt make you more insightful on the situation either. I dont really have anything else to say to you. You seem very immature so I think that anything else that you would have to say now wouldnt mean anything to me or have any relevence to the situation. Your letters have already proved that you dont care to understand so I really dont know what else to say.
I agree with your views and listend to the song. I must hear that song a
hundred times a day and never caught the words but now that you have brought
it to my attention I consider that Eric and Dylans song too.

It is not sick that I made the web site and you are displaying the reason why i felt that it was necessary to write what I felt about the situation. If we don't recognize the reasons why these things happen then it will never be fixed. There was nothing but bad publicity about Eric and Dylan but they were people who needed help and their cries were not recognized in the bad things that they did, for example when they broke into those cars and so on. This was their last straw. I am not saying that it was right for them to do. I am not saying that what they did was not selfish. I don't agree with their actions at all. I don't think that you really understood the premise of my web page. I KNOW that they should not be immortalized. Don't come to me and tell me that, go to CNN and tell them that because that is what they do everyday with criminals. Don't analyze with out understanding. Anyone would be foolish to consider them heroes. Those who do need help themselves. You are a very narrow minded person. This is a free country and I can express my view if i wish to. Alot of other people feel the same way that I do. Don't limit other peoples horizons because you can open your mind.
YOU GET A LIFE LADY!
