This is my prize winning army centre piece, I won the GW tank conversion contest with this sweet puppy. I won the landraider below this and a falcon for my fiance. I filed off all the dirty IG symbols and ripped off the treads. I replaced the missing treads with nasty bile maggot stuff made of putty. But i actually didn't use just greenstuff because its too exspensive, so i based it in cheap stuff and went over in green putty. The rest is zombie sprues and the odd skeleton or mordheim head. I personally like the Doom II rip off on the side with the blood running off of the ripped in half corpse. Do you see why the predator doesn't fit now? This is the Landraider that I won. It sat in the box, unassembled for weeks until finally during a game my friend was removing casualties and put his rhino on top of his Landraider. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks, THAT LOOKED DAMN COOL! So I sat down and pulled apart an old predator(not the front page one) and cut off the tracks. Then I used the big spiked ram bit from the chaos tank sprue and cut off all the spikes, I used this to attach the rhino hull to the landraider. Then I modified the lascannons, stuck em in the front windows of the rhino, and used some green stuff to fill the holes, and covered that in the lascannon covers. Add spikes, make wicked cages and done. It was quickly painted to use at a place where all models must be painted and is presently overdue for a repaint in my armies colours.

This was my very first encounter with green stuff, and as you can see I used the whole blister. I also used some EPICAST tank blade sponson things to extend the legs so this dread stands about twice the size of a regular chaos Dread. I used an extra dreadnaught left arm to make the rake hand look twice as scary, and used his power pack to make a BIGGER twin link lasscannon. The head is a hunter killer missle launcher as well, and he has teeny little wings. So no, he cannot fly.

Whenever someone sees my army for the first time I never hear the end of how COOL they think this guy is, and how stupid the weapons combo seems. Multi-Melta, havok missles, Missle launcher instead of cc weapon, and a heavy flamer. Yeah well guess what, he is cool, and the weapons are AWSOME against orks. Think about it. THREE template weapons on a horde of tighlty packed Ork scum. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, watch em get fragged! I'm not gonna list all the parts, let me just say theres a hell of a load of putty work and a grave stone from the zombie sprue. Anything else and I'll be sitting here till my finger tips start to bleed.
