Ah, true to any empire of man be it Fantasy or Future, there must be big guns and engines to drive em. Its no Leman Russ, but it does a fantasy general proud. Top notch paint job and to this day I have NEVER faced one....odd.

One of the best parts of the Empire revamp in my oppinion, High detail PLASTIC knights...finally no more of that $10 a piece sillyness(canada, american price is unknown). The paint job follows suit with the steam tank both in quality and colour scheme, an armoured unit to be proud of.

What would an empire be without a motley crew of heroes, and where better for them to be but in an army. To the man on the far right "Hey buddy, nice hair!" I always thought the firey mage looked alot like a tall dwarven slayer. I am still liking these characters, and the paint jobs are a REAL beauty. Also a fantastic idea going on here. Troops=Blue Characters=Red. Very good idea.

And the grunts that make it all possible. The empire's massed floot slogging enemyfodder. To the left we have spearmen, to the right some gunners. These are the real heroe's of fantasy, the nameless schmoe's we sacrifice every time we play, just to buy our "good" troops one or two more turns. A moment of silence for the walking dead.
