Michael did the part of Munkustrap in the broadway production of CATS. He left the cast, I believe it was in January (but I'm not sure), to join the New England Tour of The Who's Tommy. Michael's came back to the Wintergarden Theatre to do the part of Munkustrap for a short period of time. He did his first performance May 10, and left in October.

CATS, a show with no dialog, is based on T.S. Eliot's book Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats. Through dance and music, you're invited into a cat's world. The audience are introduced to several cats, and among them the safe and caring Old Deuteronomy, the rocking Rum Tum Tugger, Gus the theatre cat and the Napoleon of crime, Macavity. We follow Grizabella, a old and dying ex-diva cat, and her attempt to get close to the other cats. She fails to do so, over and over again, untill she finally succeeds, and are chose to go to the Heaviside Layer.
