Temptation
Chapter 9

Jace and Nick walked into the house at about 2:00 in the morning. "Goodnight Nick, thanks for taking me." Jace whispered.

"It was no problem, really, I had fun. Night Jace." He whispered back. They both walked up the stairs and parted ways. Nick walked into his room and pulled off his clothes leaving him in nothing but his boxers. He climbed into bed and turned off the light laying down to go to sleep.

"Nick?" Jace whispered opening the door. "Are you still awake?"

"Yeah." Jace closed the door behind her and turned on the light. She looked over to see Nick sitting up on the bed rubbing his eyes.

"What's up Jace?"

"I'm bored and I can't get to sleep. If you wanted to sleep, I can go back."

"No, no, that's fine. Come on, we can talk." Nick opened the covers on his bed allowing room for her to sit next to him.

"Mmm, boxers. Tempting, tempting Mr. Carter." Jace giggled and Nick rolled his eyes.

"Are you gonna try to hit on me all night or do you actually want to talk?"

"I guess we can talk." She pretended to sigh and then laughed.

"I can't believe you're moving out tomorrow. You've only been here two days but already the house is gonna seem empty without you."

"Yeah, well, at least then we won't always want to jump eachother. Besides, you can stay at my house whenever you want."

"I'm not too sure that's the best idea. Me in a house with you. Alone. Think of the stuff we could do."

"Oh you haven't even begun to dream about the things I could do to you." Nick groaned.

"Okay, I can't handle anymore. Want to watch a movie?" Jace giggled and nodded her head. She walked over to his collection of videos trying to find the right one. When she was done looking through all the ones in his drawers and still hadn't found one, she opened up the cabinet. She grabbed one of the movies and giggled.

"Nicky, Nicky, Nicky. Show Girls?" She teased and his head shot up and he looked at her.

"That's not mine!! It's AJ's."

"You don't have to defend yourself Nick, I understand. It's a pretty good movie, lets watch it." She smirked and walked towards him. He looked at her with wide eyes and shook his head.

"Show Girls?!? We are NOT watching that."

"Why not?"

"Because if I watch that, with you, I'll do things."

"What kind of things?"

"Baaaad things." He smirked up at her and walked over towards the movie collection.

"Lets watch this, it's a classic." He popped in Ace Ventura and she sighed. Jace climbed back under the covers next to him and the two cuddled up together and watched the movie.
