"Thanks Stevers. I'm so loaded with paper work I just couldn't go after him." He smiled at her "Hey, it's not a problem. Here, let me take him for the rest of the afternoon while you go and take your pictures." Angelina looked at him greatfully "Will you?"
"Of course!"
"Thanks soo much Stevers!" He smiled and carried Brian down the hall to his office. Angelina looked at the clock and sighed. She grabbed some of her things and headed towards the Photo shoot area. She didn't know who she was shooting but she knew that it was a bunch of people that sang some song called "Let the Music Heal Your Soul." She walked into the room. "Ok everyone! I don't have all day. I have a son to tend to and dinner to cook so lets make this shoot snappy alright?? Places please!" She walked towards her camera when she heard a familiar but somewhat deeper voice say "Angelina?" She looked up to see Aaron. Well, not exactly Aaron, but an older version. One much older and mature looking since the last time she had seen him, two and a half years ago.
But Aaron wasn't the only one. At the mention of her name, four other heads perked up as well. She was now looking into the eyes of Brian, Kevin, Howie, Aj and Aaron. "Hey you guys, long time no see." Just as they were about to respond, someone rushed in the door. "Sorry I'm late! I was stuck in traffic!" Angelina looked towards the door and made eye contact with Nick. He stopped in his tracks "Angel?"
"Nick..." He walked towards her and was about to say something when the door burst open once again. "MOMMMMMMMYYYYYYY!!!" She saw Brian running towards her with Steve running close behind. He ran into her arms and she picked him up. "Brian! Why didn't you stay with Steve?"
"Stev bor'ng!" She laughed, "But you know mommy has a photo shoot to do."
"Stay?" She sighed, "Fine you can stay." She turned around to see everyone staring at her. "Ok, well, I guess I don't have a son to tend to so fifteen minute break and then we'll start with the pictures." Everyone walked out of the room while Aaron, Brian, Howie, Aj, Kevin, and Nick walked towards Angelina. "Angel, it's been awhile." Brian said giving her a hug. "Ang! You hiding my god son from me??"
Angelina laughed and gave Aj a hug. She smiled at Kevin and Howie who also said 'hi'. "Aaron, you've grown so much, you must be quite the lady's man." He blushed and gave her a hug. She then turned towards Nick who was quiet the whole time. "Hi Nick." She whispered. "Hi." He whispered back. "Do you think we could go outside and talk a little?" She switched Brian around in her arms "Sure."
They headed outside and sat down on a nearby bench. Both sitting there in an akward silence.
"Angel.."
"Nick.." They both said at the same time and laughed. "Sorry." They said in unison once again. "You go first." Angelina said to Nick. Nick took a deep breath and started talking. "Angel, look, I know it's been a long time since we've seen eachother and basically, I've been lonely without you. I know this isn't what you want to hear but I miss you and I miss my, our, son. Just looking at him makes me realise all I've missed, I missed his first smile, first steps, first words, and more firsts if I stay out of his life..." He brought his hand up to her cheek "And yours. I've missed you two a lot. I don't want to be excluded from your life. I know you probably don't want me in your life but please let me be in our son's life. He needs a father and I need my son. Please don't deny me that."
"Nick, I wouldn't deny you a chance to see our son but I don't think that it'd be possible.."
"But you have to let me see my son!!" Angel smiled at NIck's face, he looked so mad it was almost cute. "Now, if you would let me finish, I'd love for you to see our son but I don't think that it'd be possible to keep you out of his life now that you're in it. He's going to want to see you more...and I would too."
"You mean that?" She nodded "Yeah Nick, I can't raise Brian on my own and you're right, he does need his father." Nick smiled and stood up. "Come on tour with me."
"I can't, we'd be too much of a burden and.." Nick cut it "NO!! I believe I speak for all the guys when I say that we'd love to have you and Brian on tour with us. Plus, before we leave we make a stop in LA and I'm sure my family is dying to see you two again. Please come with us!!"
Angelina smiled "yes." Nick looked at her "Did you just say yes?!?" She nodded and he broke out into a smile picking her up and twirling her around "YOU SAID YES!!" He kept twirling her and screaming until the other guys came outside to see what was going on. "She said yes!" The guys all looked at him clueless. "To what buddy?"
"She's coming on tour with us!!" Their confused faces broke out into smiles as well as they all cheered. "Mommy?? Ho He?" Brian asked while pointing at Nick. Angel smiled down at him and picked him up. "Brian, this is your daddy." Brian looked confused "Daddy?" Angelina smiled and said "Yes, that's your daddy." Brian smiled and held his arms out to Nick. "DADDY!" Nick laughed and grabbed Brian.
