"Who?"

"Jon. He's going away. I'll never see him again!" Angelina and Jon had become pretty serious even though they had only known eachother for a week or so.

"Hey Ang, it'll be alright, at least you didn't know him that long."

"Yeah but in that short amount of time, I became really close to him. He was so great with Brian. Where will I find someone else like that?"

"What about Nick?"

"What are you talking about?"

"I said what about Nick? Isn't he great with Brian."

"Well, yeah, he has to be, he's Brian's father."

"But don't you ever think of him as something more?"

"Brian, even if I did, he hates me so it doesn't matter what I think." She got up and walked to her room to check on Brian who was sleeping.

"What was that all about?" Nick came in with a sandwhich

"Nothing, are you always eating?" Nick smirked

"I'm a growing boy!"

"Whatever." Brian shook his head and walked up to his room.

"Hey Bri." Nick said walking into his room "What were you guys talking about?"

"Nothing."

"No, seriously, what were you talking about?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"Curiousity killed the cat."

"You're one strange dude."

"Thanks."

"OK, well, we were talking about Jon and how he was leaving and she said that he was great with Brian and then I suggested you and she wanted to know what I meant and then I asked if she ever thinks of you as something more and she said it wouldn't matter what she thought cause you hated her and then she walked out." Nick sat down on the bed next to Brian

"Woah."

"Yeah, why did you want to know so much?"

"Well Bri, what if I thought of her as something more once in a while?"

"You mean you love her?" Brian teased

"No, seriously Bri, I don't know what I feel but I do know that I don't hate her."

"Well, that's good because you two were becoming unbareable."

"Funny Bri."

"Hey, I thought it was."

"Whatever, so what should I do?"

"I don't know. But you need to prove to her that you don't hate her."

"Oh, well, that will be easy." Nick said sarcastically

"Well, why don't you wait till one night when everyone's gone?"

"Yeah maybe."

"Hey Bri bri, what do you want for dinner? A bottle or a bottle?" He continued crying. "I'll take that as a bottle." Angelina picked him up gave him his bottle. She then sat down on the couch and turned the tv on. It was on Disney and it was now playing the Backstreet Boys concert which was voted to be the best concert special of '99.

"Hey Bri, there's your daddy." Nick started dancing around the stage. "Isn't he a cutie just like you?" She picked him up and started dancing around with Brian.

"You think I'm a cutie?" She turned around to see Nick leaning against the wall watching Brian and Angelina dance

"How much of that did you actually see?"

"Oh, somewhere in between the bottle and then dancing." She blushed

"Oh."

"No, don't worry, I actually thought that it was cute. I just didn't know you thought I was cute." He teased. He walked into the room and took Brian from her grasp and started feeding him.

"What are you still doing here? Shouldn't you be out celebrating New Years like everyone else?" He shrugged

"Nah, I didn't feel like going clubbing. Wanted a nice, quiet millenium. Don't get those too often." She laughed

"Well, you don't get a new millenium too often either."

"Whatever." He smiled at her. She got up and changed the channel to MTV. Ananda and Blink 182 were talking

"God, I hate Ananda, she's sooo annoying!"

"Well, at least you don't have to have interviews with her!"

"I feel sorry for you." On the Tv they were talking about the Backstreet Boys

"I think she likes you guys. She's always talking about you."

"Oh stop, you're making me blush."

"Oh it's the premiere of your new video!! I want to see this!" Nick laughed at her enthusium.

"Is Brian like watching his surgery or something? Oh, is that Kevin's dad?"

"Well, kinda."

"Nice hat." She started laughing at Nick.

"What? I like the french hat."

"It's just to funny."

"Well, I'm glad to know that you thought our supposed to be sad video is hilarious."

"Anything to please you Nick. Woah, you look like you were gonna kiss her! I don't think your fans would have been too happy about that."

"Oh well, I didn't kiss her. Besides, I don't get it. 98º can have like sex in their videos but yet, we haven't once kissed the girls in our videos."

"Oh poor baby, you haven't kissed a girl?"

"Of course I have. Look at Brian and I think you'll know that answer." She blushed and looked away.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that." He leaned over her

"Why?"

"Because it was a mistake."

"What was? Brian? Are you not happy to have him?"

"No, I love him. It's just if we weren't drunk then we wouldn't have him."

"Well, I'm kind of glad we were drunk because if we weren't, then we never would have had Brian-who is going to be incredibly handsome like his father, if I do say so myself-and I wouldn't have been forced to spend more time with you."

"But the time we spent was always filled with fights."

"And for that, I am truely sorry."

"Me too."

"So why did we fight?"

"Who knows? I think we were just too stuborn to admit that the other one was right and that we were fighting over nothing."

"Yeah but those were some pretty brutal fights."

"Yeah they were."

"Oh I almost forgot..." Nick hit his forehead with his hand "This is for you." He took out a small package and handed it to Angel.

"What's this?" She smiled

"Well, you left in such a hurry and it's been hectic these couple days and I forgot to give you your present."

"You got me one?"

"Well, yeah. You got me one too."

"Well, I just thought I should because Brian should get you a gift ya know?"

"Ok, well, this is a present from me and Brian to you."

"Fine, but you know you didn't have to. I haven't exactly been the nicest person to you."

"Well, I've been equally as mean so just stop complaining and open it up."

"Fine." She opened it up and on the inside found a gold chain with a locket on it. When she opened the locket, there was a picture of Brian in it and a picture of Nick, her, and Brian which was taken the day he was born. She laughed

"I look hideous in this picture!"

"You do not, you just gave birth, you had a mother's glow."

"Uh huh sure. I guess we think alike huh?" She pointed to his chain.

"Yeah I guess so."

"Well, you know what they say, great minds think alike."

"Yeah." They sat there in silence both just watching the tv and at midnight, she kissed Nick on the cheek but then soon went to bed because Brian had tired her out.
