{As the scene opens back up the camera picks up Gottfried and Saul E. in their makeshift office going over notes)
MG: You know tonight has been going pretty good so far, besides a few ... distractions.
SED: So what should we do about it?
MG: Well, for starters, I didn't enjoy Miso getting involved in that ladies match so how about we sign her against that other Twin Phoenix girl for Detroit.
SED: You mean Trynyty Wang?
MG: That would be here. Oh, and you'll enjoy this, since Bump Daddy J had such a good time with Kevin Powers ... how about we send Big Thrilla against his buddy Apocalypse.
SED: Are you sure?
MG: What could go wrong?
SED: I like it. Anything else?
MG: Give me a few mintues ... I'll think of something.
{The scene then turns back to the announcer's table.}
BS: Trynyty Wang taking on Miso and Big Thrilla against Apocalypse?
GM: Oh man it's gonna be a dark day in Detroit!
BS: Ladies and gents, up next we've got a contest for the EWI--
GM: (interrupting) SSN!
BS: Federation Title. We'll have "Mr. Main Event" Rob Sampson taking on the challenger, Tabu. You thought on this Gary?
GM: Someone will win. I predict that it will be either Rob Sampson or Tabu.
BS: Um... well said... I think. Let's go to the ring, where the contestants are already waiting!
Tabu charges at Sampson at breakneck speed. Sampson catches Tabu with a quick overhead suplex, tossing Tabu out of the ring.
BS: Rob Sampson showing off his technical skills there.
GM: Skills? It takes skill to throw someone out of a ring?
BS: When that someone is Tabu, it does.
GM: But... damn, you're good.
Sampson follows to the outside of the ring and grabs Tabu, but Tabu fights back and takes Sampson down with a DDT. Sampson's head smacks the concrete with a sickening thud. Tabu pulls Sampson up and throws him into the ring. Tabu rolls in behind Sampson, but the champ is already to his feet and keeps Tabu down with kicks to the head and back. He lets Tabu get to his feet by his own power and then takes him back down with a spear. He pulls Tabu up and whips him into the ropes. He goes for a clothesline, but Tabu ducks it. Tabu comes off the opposing ropes with a clothesline attempt of his own but Sampson avoids it and catches Tabu in a full-nelson suplex. Sampson covers, but only gets a two count.
BS: A little too early to start going for the win now, isn't it?
Sampson starts to pull Tabu up but Tabu fights back with his fists and destroys Sampson with a side slam. Before Sampson can get up, Tabu drops an elbow across the chest of "Mr. Main Event." Tabu goes up top.
GM: Frog Splash by Tabu! No! Sampson moves out of the way! Damn, that had to hurt!
Tabu holds his side in pain as Sampson gets to his feet. Sampson grabs Tabu and sends him to the canvas with a vertical suplex. He then pulls Tabu up by his hair and tosses him over the top rope, sending Tabu crasheing to the ground outside the ring. Tabu clumsily gets to his feet and is met by a tumbling splash from the ring from Rob Sampson!
BS: And both men are down now!
Both men get up to their feet, slowly. Sampson launches at Tabu, but, Tabu stops him in his tracks with a boot to the face. Tabu goes to the ring steps and starts to pick them up. He looks at Melissa as if to ask her permission and she slowly nods her head. A grin comes over Tabu's face as he picks up the ring steps. Sampson gets to his knees and it taken right back down when Tabu smashes the ring steps into his head!
BS: And Sampson goes down like a wet paper sack!
GM: Great analogy, Bret.
As Sampson gets up, his fece is seen covered in a crimson mask. He slowly gets to his feet and Tabu charges at him with the steps once again, but Sampson ducks, causing Tabu to his the ring post, sending the steps into his own face. Sampson takes advantage of the situation and rolls the dazed Tabu into the ring.
GM: Oh yipee. Look who showed up for the party.
At the top of the entrance ramp, Ash walks out, still rumpled from his previous match against Sky Suicide. He walks down to the ring, eyeing Sampson the whole way.
BS: This looks like trouble.
Sampson sees Ash and loses his focus on Tabu who takes him down with an inverse DDT. Tabu covers, but Sampson quickly kicks out. The two get up and exchange punches. Sampson blocks a punch from Tabu and hits him with a series of his own. Sampson sends Tabu into the ropes! Show Stopper (superkick) by Sampson! Tabu goes down and Sampson covers but the ref is being distracted by Ash. Tabu kicks out anyway, and Sampson goes to argue with the ref about not paying attention to the match. On the outside of the ring, Ash goes to climb in behind the ref's back, but Melissa grabs his arm, stopping him. Ash turns to Melissa and with a stern look on his face, he headbutts her, sending her to the floor. Inside the ring, Sampson continues arguing with the ref and as he does so, Tabu sneaks up behind Sampson. Ash quickly slides in with a steel chair in tow and smashes it over Tabu's head. Tabu stumbles around and Ash kicks him in the gut and takes him down with the Burning Sensation. He then quickly rolls out of the ring. Sampson turns around to see Tabu laying out cold on the ground and locks him in the Glass Ceiling. Tabu never taps, but the ref awards Sampson the win by knockout.
BS: And Sampson retains, with help from his disgruntled EWI teammate, Ash!
GM: Did you see the look Ash had on his face? I really don't think he's happy with Sampson for getting involved in his earlier match.
BS: Hopefully these two can get over their differences and focus on the main enemy ... the SSN.
GM: The enemy? Zieba's gone remember?
BS: Folks we've got to cut away, but when we return it's the Main Event as Hellfighter puts his EWI Extreme World Title on the line against SSN front runner 'Hurricane' Eddy Love! NEXT!!!
BS: Welcome back everyone. Well it's that time of the night. We've gone through an entire show just to get to this one moment and that's the Main Event! Tonight Hellfighter puts it all on the line as he faces SSN's main man Eddy Love.
GM: Hellfighter hasn't exactly been the EWI poster child if you know what I mean. He was the ref for the Love and Tabu match and basically gave the company to the SSN. He tried to do good, but he's been a very bad boy. Tonight can he make up for everything? The whole world is about to be the judge of that.
BS: And with that folks let's get to the ring!
187 and Commissioner Dupree wait down by the ring as Eddy Love and Tania make their entrance first, taunting the crowd as they swagger confidently to the ring.
BS: And there's the challenger, looking extremly confident.
Love struts by Dupree and climbs into the ring while Tania remains at ringside. Hellfighter makes his entrance next, holding the Extreme World title belt high for all to see as he walks to the ring.
GM: The soon to be ex-World champion is putting on a show of bravado for the fans.
BS: Did you buy a dictionary, Garrett?
Hellfighter climbs into the ring as Eddy Love argues with a fan at ringside Hellfighter drops the title and charges across the ring. Love gets nailed with a charging axhandle bodyblock. Hellfighter then follows up with a Gorilla Press Slam on the mat.
GM: Hellfighter's wasting no time in going after Love!
The bell rings as Hellfighter tackles Love and and then pummels him with a series of right hands. Hellfighter goes for a fistdrop but Love evades the move and gets to his feet. Love kicks the champion in the midsection and slams him down to the mat. He follows up with a falling headbutt and covers. 187 counts: One, two...Hellfighter kicks out.
BS: Hellfighter started off strongly, but the challenger has taken control now.
GM: Tonight is Eddy Love's night. Deal with it.
Love waits for Hellfighter to get to his feet and then executes a uraken on the champion. Hellfighter comes back by raking the challenger's face and takes him down with a snap mare. The champion clamps on a reverse chinlock.
BS: Hellfighter could wear Eddy Love down easily with this move. He's forcing Love to carry his weight and that makes it harder for Love to take a breath.
Love struggles to his feet. Hellfighter whips him to the ropes but Love reverses and takes the champion down with a clothesline.Eddy Love bounces Hellfighter off the ropes and clotheslines him down. As Hellfight lays on the mat, Love kicks away at him and then pulls him up for a DDT.
Love covers. 187 counts: One, two...Hellfighter kicks out.
GM: Stay down, damn you.
Both men back up now and Love swings a right hand but Hellfighter blocks and executes a jawbreaker on Love. Love stumbles around the ring but is suddenly taken down by a short lariat from the champion. Love kips up to his feet but is suddenly taken down by a belly to belly suplex from Hellfighter. Hellfighter covers. 187 counts: One...two...Love gets a shoulder up.
BS: Talk about a slow count!
GM: I saw nothing wrong with it.
BS: Of course not, Garrett.
Hellfighter gets in 187's face and begins berating him about the count. Commissioner Dupree hops up on the apron to mediate but jumps back down when Eddy Love nails Hellfighter with a belly-to-back suplex from behind. Love quickly heads up top and leaps off with a diving headbutt on Hellfighter. Lover covers. 187 counts: One, two, thr...Hellfighter gets a shoulder up.
BS: Yes! Come on, Hellfighter! Do it for Zieba! Do it for all of EWI!
GM: Oh please.
Love whips Hellfighter to the ropes and sets for a back body drop, but Hellfighter comes crashing down with an elbow to the back of Love's head. Both men are down and 187 begins to count. One...two...three... Suddenly the crowd begins to stir.
BS: What's going on?
GM: It's Sky Suicide! And take a look at that ring on his hand!
BS: My God...you don't think... No, surely not!
GM: Oh I think he did. That's the belt right there. And look at it this way, he'll never forget his name now.
Dupree confronts Sky in the aisleway, blocking his way to the ring. Sky tries to go around him, but Dupree stands his ground. Suddenly Tania comes from behind and nails Dupree in the groin, leaving him open to a shot from Sky's ring-bearing right hand.
BS: What the hell?!?! Tania and Sky Suicide just took out Comissioner Dupree!!!
Tania takes off to the backstage area as Sky continues to the ring. By this time, both champion and challenger have regained their senses and are slugging it out in the ring when suddenly the lights go out/
GM: What the...? The lights have gone out.
BS: Why do I have a feeling Tania is behind this?! Something's going on inside the ring, but I can't see a thing!
GM: Oh and I can?!
The lights come back up and Hellfighter is lying on the mat. The cameras go in close and the word "SKY" can be seen firmly imprinted on his forehead.
BS: Sky Suicide nailed Hellfighter with that ring of his! The champion's out!
Tania wanders back down to ringside as Love pulls Hellfighter up. She climbs up to the top rope as Love gets the champion in position for the Hurricane Piledriver and leaps off as he drops Hellfighter on his to make the impact greater. Love covers quickly and 187 drops to the mat. He counts: One..two..three!!
BS: Oh my God...Eddy...Eddy Love...
GM: ...is the NEW EXTREME WORLD CHAMPION!! YES!! HE DID IT!!
BS: I .... can't believe it.
GM: Well you better believe it cause Love is the champion! The last piece of the EWI has been lifited and now the SSN is in TOTAL CONTROL! I love it. Eddy loves it. We all love it!
BS: Folks we'll have to update you as soon as we can, but we just about out of time. For Garrett MacFarland, Victoria McCave, Guy Grant, and everyone here at EWI ...
GM: SSN GET IT RIGHT!
BS: This is Brett Sanders saying so long from Indy and look for us next as we invade the Joe Louis Arena for Heatwave in Detroit! Good night everyone!
GM: SSN WINS! EDDY LOVE WINS! WE ALL WIN!!
