October 2, 1999 - Saturday - Anniversary Dinner and Dance
6:00pm Cocktails
7:00pm Dinner - Festive Attire!
Please join us at the Ramada Inn Downtown, 1150 East Colfax Avenue. Dinner menu options include turkey, sirloin roast, or vegetarian entree' served with salad and garlic mashed potatoes. Dessert options include chocolate kahlua cake or fruit cobbler. Beverages include tea, lemonade, and coffee. There will also be a cash bar for alcohol. Please note your menu prefrences when purchashing anniversary tickets. Tickets must be purchased in ADVANCE! Anniversary dinner tickets may be purchased for $25 per person($10 per child 12 and under). October 3, 1999 - Sunday - Anniversary Liturgy
Please join us for the anniversary liturgy with our guest homilist, Mary Louise Cervone, Dignity/USA President. Mass will be at 5:00pm at 1100 Fillmore St.
October 7-10 - National Assocation of Catholic Diocesan Lesbian And Gay Ministries Conference, Chicago, IL
October 10th - Solidarity Sunday
Solidarity Sunday is a national effort(Dignity/USA) to end verbal and physical abuse against all people, including gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders.
Keynotes of the Solidarity Pledge:
1) Civil rights are not special rights
2) Words that hurt and bigotry are not funny
3) Violent speech leads to physical abuse
4) Violence against any person is violence against all people
Please join us as we work to break the chain of ignorance, fear, anger, hatred, and violence.
