Ibuki Maya is the one of the operators of Magi System. She belongs to First Section of the Bureau of Techonology of NERV. She is also the First Rank operator of S.C.Magi and a computer programmer. She is also the assistant of Akagi Ritsuko. Ritsuko taught her a lot of thing. So that's why she calls Ritsuko a "Senpai" which is a respectful word used to call someone who is elder or more experienced than you. Ibuki Maya's main jobs are to control the Magi System and the functions of Evangelions, to calculate the harmonic percentage, to help Ritsuko to do all kinds of experiment and others.
