| History of EVA-04 Production Model
EVA-04 is the second last Production Model Evangelion manufactured and assemblaged by NERV-2 in Nevada, USA. The difference between this Evangelion and EVA-03 is that EVA-04 was created for the further development of the S2 Engine and Dummy Plug.
The Disappearance and return of EVA-04 and NERV-2
The S2 Engine, which is believed to be taken directly from the 4th Angel, has been transplanted into EVA-04. When EVA-04's S2 Engine was activated, NERV-2 and EVA-04 vanish. According to the data, it seems like they were sucked into "The Sea of Dirac". Only some months later did the Evangelion mysteriously return.
