| History of EVA-02 Production Model
EVA-02 is the first Production Model Evangelion. It was designed and manufactured in Japn, and was put together and tested in Germany. Basically, the main functions that are present in EVA-02 are same as the modified EVA-00. The only difference is that EVA-02 has more advance weapons inside both of the shoulder blades.
The Techniques of EVA-02 Production Model
The technique of manufacturing EVA-02 are much more advance than those of the old models. Therefore, EVA-02 is more stable, has better performance and does not go berserk easily. Unlike the old EVAs, it can use a voice recognition system to operate. The only weak point is that core data must be changed if a new pilot is to operate it.

The only time EVA-02 goes beserk is in the Movie when the Eva Series has ripped it appart. Due to the strong determination thet Asuka had, it continued to work. Although all the internal organs of EVA-02 had been fully eaten by the EVA Series, EVA-02 still worked. | |
