My name is Brad Norman. I am majoring in Electrical Engineering at Montana State University. During the past two summers, I worked for the Forrest Service back home. I worked with great people. The crew all got to fight Forrest fires in Utah, California and Montana right after I had to leave to come back to school. I wish school started later.
My favorite thing to do besides school is snowboard. Since I am from a ski resort town in Colorado called Steamboat Springs, I found myself up on the Ski Mountain almost every day all winter through out high school. I was on the Winter Sports Club ability snowboard team during high school. Therefore, I have to be good at it. I picked a college that was in the mountains.
Near Montana State are two ski areas. The closest one and the cheapest is Bridger Bowl. It is a cool little mountain but the ski lifts are a little slower than the ones back home. Big Sky is like 45 minutes away and it has good too. It is bigger and has more tourists. I really like it. It just rocks. I am going to spend a small fortune to get a pass down there this season. I hope it will be worth it. Pray for snow!
