Max size (in inches) - 6-9"
Minimum tank size - at least 40g
Sociability - Depends on fish ... Some are really aggressive - and some are just agressive
Breeding - Egglayer ... Fish will form strong pair bonds ... They breed often and prolifically
Temperament - highly territorial when spawning
Comments – Beautiful multi-hue fish ... females become bright yellow when spawning
Personal Experience - I purchased 5 juveniles and grew them out in a 75g tank … from these I have had two pairs form at the 3-4 inch mark and they have been spawning regularly since ... they are currently in a 90g with a pair of dempseys and a trio of tiger loach for targets ... dithers don't do well as the salvini get larger
