Sociability - Depends on fish ... Some are only mock-bluffers, while others are very aggressive
Breeding - Egglayer ... They breed often - once a pair forms that is - it's been said they are one of the few fish that would rather fight than breed
Temperament - Same as sociability
Comments – A colorful but shy fish ... prefers lots of cover in their tank
Personal Experience - I purchased 5 juveniles and grew them out in a 40Long tank … from these I have had two pairs form at the 3-4 inch mark and they had been spawning regularly since ... upon the cross country move from indpls to philly and the subsequent giving away of the smaller of the pairs... the other pair has not settled down and started breeding again yet
