PIPPO INZAGHI AND AC MILAN
MILANELLO – “What are you going to do in
your life?” If you ask, many children will surely answer: “The football
player”, but just a few of them will realise their dream. Filippo Inzaghi is
one of these. I always loved this game, and I think this is my little secret:
I always enjoy myself.
And when Filippo Inzaghi is playing, all the kids enjoy themselves. Yesterday
night AC Milan was struggling among the fans’ jeers, but when Pippo stood up
from the bench, the boos changed into cheers. ‘The fans are protesting
because they suffer when we fail to obtain good results. I was out when
everything got started, but now I just want to contribute to AC Milan
recovery’.
He couldn’t do better than he did, yesterday. It was at his comeback, after a
serious knee-ligament injury, and roared like a lion for the whole second half.
He led AC Milan to their first home victory since Dec. 23 (AC Milan - Verona
2-1) and was ruled offside on a great move he had concluded putting the ball
past Torino’s goalie.
‘I want to share the joy for this happy comeback with professor Campi and
all AC Milan medical staff, with my family, my team-mates, and the fans. I’m
proud to be in AC Milan and I would like to stay here until the end of my
career’, Pippo said.
