New Orleans-class Starship
Type of Federation starship, often used as frigates. These ships include:
- U.S.S. Kyushu (NCC-65491)
- U.S.S. Renegade (NCC-63102)
- U.S.S. Rutledge (NCC-57295)
- U.S.S. Thomas Paine (NCC-65530)
A study model was made for the class of ship and was seen briefly as the Kyushu in the ship graveyard in "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II."(TNG) Named for the ship called the City of New Orleans.
