This show was amazing!!
Rochelle couldn't go, she had graduation parties to go to, as well did Lindsey and Lindsey got sick. So it was just Michael and I, plus two newcommers, Laurel and Courtney. Needless to say, they were impressed! This was a small show mainly as something else going on as people looked at booths filled with art. So probably only abut 8 people were there because they knew how cool the band is.
We saw Matt before the show and we waved and then mustered up the courage to go talk to him. That was after we explained to Laurel and Courtney which member Matt was. We talked to him about how the band needed to play in Greeley and how glad we were that we got to come see them again. Then we left him alone so he could talk to some other people.
So we were waiting for the band to play and we are standing there and all of a sudden I see Sven behind the stage bobbing his head. I figured, "Ah, like iguanas. Iguanas bobb their heads and then you are supposed to bobb back." So I did! That was really fun!
Since this was a small show, and not many people knew about the band, some plugs were neccessary. Sven had matting board and a can a black spray paint. He managed to paint "You Call That" on one side and on the other, "ART" he forgot the question mark. So then he threw the board out into the audience. Mattig board has massive wind resistance so it didn't get very far, actaully it got as far as Laurel's feet. So I told her to grab it for me.
Yes, I got the board. It's all mine!! And not only did I get the board, but I also got Matt, Ben, John, and Sven to sign it! Talk about being overwhelmed! ^_^ And Rochelle was going to have a fit, a huge fit! I loved it!!
I had taken a camera to use this time and I am glad I did, you don't see to many pictures of the band so I tried to use all my film. The guys were really cool, every time we asked to take a picture, they wanted to be in it too. I didn't care if I was in it, I would be happy to settle for just the band! The day was amazingly cool.
