I'd like to share something that has come to me from a very intense personal struggle that I am going through.  As always, God has been faithful to take my struggles and turn them into a growth time.  Although I cannot yet see it, I know that this, too, will become a blessing, and I can begin now to thank Him and praise Him for that.  It seems many times that when my intentions are good, that evil seems to creep right in.  And we need not be surprised by that, because it will always be true.  The Bible  tells us that when we intend to do good, evil comes (Romans 7:21).  Such has been the case for me (again) recently, and out of this experience, I expect to learn more about the enemy's tactics but even more about God's plans for my victory through the struggle.

One of the strongest weapons  I have learned through the years is praying from the Scriptures, and the following is an example of how  the Lord led me to pray through a Scripture passage in order to "deal" with a very intense battle. I pray it will be of some encouragement to you if you find yourself  facing a battle today, and can't seem to find your Weapon.

His Grace is Enough

Because of the extravagance of these revelations, and so I wouldn't get a big head,
I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations.
Satan's angel did his best to get me down: what he in fact did was push me to my knees.
No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn't think of it as a gift,
and begged God to remove it.  Three times I did that, and then he told me,
"My grace is enough; it's all you need.  My strength comes into its own in your weaknesses."
Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen.
I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift.
It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness.
Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size -
abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks.  I just let Christ take over!
And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become!
2 Cor 12: 7-10
The Message

Father, today in whatever way the enemy comes against us, whatever abuse, pain, opposition, bad breaks, accidents that he uses to block our path, I pray we will clearly see immediately Your hand in it.  I pray we will immediately hand it over to Christ and praise You for Your Goodness.  Father, I pray we will be so aware of Your Grace today that nothing will deter us in any way from Your Will.  I ask that we will be so intuned to You that we will be able to thank You without reservation for any handicap we may have. I thank You for the ways You have used our physical, emotional and spiritual ailments to drive us to our knees.  I thank You from the deepest part of me for putting me on my knees, and ask Your forgiveness for when I have failed to look up at You from being at Your feet.
I ask that I will never again get to the point that I feel any sorrow for being where You have placed me.
Oh, Father, I ask today to have a new Vision.  I ask for Supernatural interference from You in our lives in such a way that we cannot be stopped in our praises for You.  I ask that the words of our praises to be shared....that in order for that to happen You will surprise us with quiet moments that could only have been orchestrated by You.  I ask that we will hear Your voice- not only as You speak to us, but that we will hear Your laughter and Your song. Let us feel Your Joy and Love and Peace all wrapped around us in Your arms.  In whatever comes to us today, let us see Your supernatural Handiwork.  I pray for a day of many victories in our lives and many moments of ecstasy in Your presence.
Replace any sorrow or pain we have today with that Joy, and any distress with Your Peace.  Where there is any ill feeling or harmful intent aimed at us, I ask You to replace that with Your Love.  Bless us beyond comprehension today and renew our Hope in You and in our own future.
I love You, Lord, and I praise You for all You have done through us and for us.
I can't wait to praise You more!
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
