About conspiracies. When JFK was assassinated, his brain (on a secure flight) disappeared and still hasn't been found.
According to Eddie, Faithfulness is a myth. Some people think that if you look at another person that is cheating, while some think that the only way you can cheat is if you sleep with someone else. It is all a point of view.
There is no way that people should stop making a difference.
About a man down on his luck who changes his own destiny. He is then shot down again when he tries to share the answers (they steel it from him instead).
Ever wish you were something different?
Jeff read the book "The Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov which is about a man named Pilate who (in one point in the book) stands on a mountain with a guitar and his dog. Pilate is growing old and all the dog does is "obeys listens kisses loves." What he wants is a conflicting partner to love instead of being alone. Jeff is like Pilate (he has a dog and a guitar and the Pilate picture in the liner notes shows Jeff on top of a mountain).
About technology and how much it "helps" us.
Just as it says, "We're all crazy. We're all crazy at war."
Stands for "Mini Fast Car." When the band was in Italy, Eddie was amazed at the small cars that went super fast.
"Low Light" could be the follow up to Pilate. In "Low Light," Pilate (or whomever) finds comfort, and learns to live with it while being alone.
When your a star, you need to hide out sometimes. Things dramatically change.
About death. We are all just visiting. Earth will be here a lot longer then mankind.
A lullaby. If you are in a rush and worried about life, take a nap. That's what I do.
