Verbal Effects
(A list of phrases and statements made or common verbal themes.)Early 1984: Verbal effects began with cloned voices of manager and fellow workers. Favorite repetitive phrases were "give up", "you don’t know who you’re messing with". One episode of door slamming. In 1985: Racial slurs began. Favorite phrases, "crazy nigger", "you’re dead". Fraternity brothers, ex wife and mother-in-law voices were later cloned to express demeaning and derogatory remarks. One fraternity brother would remark, " (my ex wife’s name) and I are sleeping together". Male voices remarked, "You can call the Justice Department. Nothing is going to happen". Voices of family members were cloned when they were in other areas of my mothers home. A Los Angeles attorney, who I discussed harassment with, voice was cloned to make supporting statements. There was one episode of hearing my own thoughts broadcast aloud. It was maddening. From 1986 though 1990, periodic cloning of voices in the work place. There were no repetitive themes. Periodically heard the cloned voice of Franchise Tax Board agent I met in California. The voice often remarked, "stay dead" or "you’re stupid". From 1990 through 1993, phrases and remarks were interjected in conversation with a girl friend. This occurred when I could not see her lips. Lying in bed at night, while driving, or if she was walking away. The remarks were often incongruent, sometimes demeaning. I sometimes asked, "why did you say that" and she would respond "I didn’t say anything". From 1993 to the present, the most common repetitive phrases have been, "You’re going to die sick or crazy". A few times, "we’ll murder or kill you". Since 1993 the voices have been mostly female. The female synthetic voices combined with periodic sleep deprivation have become a part of my daily existence. By and large, the synthetic voices are not reproduced during work hours.
