For owners that were not fully satisfied with the power available from the stock 30SE, there was more than 600 naturally aspirated horsepower to be gained via a specially Lamborghini designed injection system called MMEC (Multi-Mode Engine Control). This exemplary kit is added to the stock car to yield the 30SE Jota. The system works much like a trumpet with different port lengths for the fuel mixture to travel at pre-set rpm settings. The system makes use of the most efficient distance and manner for the mixture to be utilised for the best combustion results. The system is very effective and unlocks much of the hidden potential contained within the healthy 5.7 litre V-12. The 30SE Jota is no different other than the MMEC kit.

Lamborghini enthusiasts will recall that there was another car with the same name. Back in the Miura days, when Bob Wallace was chief Test Driver for Lamborghini, he created a very special Miura. It was a fully race-ready competition equipped Miura. It was named Jota (Yota), the letter "J" in Italian, after the racing paragraph in the FIA rule book, paragraph "J". That Jota never saw the race track and has since been destroyed by a fire. The 30SE Jota recalls that spirit to go racing and celebrates the higher level of performance, even from the street legal car found in today's version.
