Dependents' Pass

Employment Pass ( P or Q Pass ) Holders are eligible to apply for their Dependents' Pass (DP). To avoid any delay in the processing, the DP application and the supporting documents should be submitted together with the EP application.

For a DP, the following documents are required:

1. 2 copy each of Form 14;
2. 2 copies of duly completed Form 12 (1 original and 1 photocopy or both originals) and signed by the applicant. If children are travelling on their own individual passports, a separate Form 12 each must be submitted. For children below 12 years old, one of the parents can sign on their behalf;
3. A copy of the official marriage certificate;
4. A copy each of the official birth certificates of the children showing both the parents' names and the child's name;
5. A copy of the official adoption order or document of the children (if applicable);
6. Legal papers on the custody of the children (if applicable);
7. 2 recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant (taken within the last 3 months).
8. No photograph is required for children below 12 years old.

The fee for the issue of a DP is S$30 per year or part thereof , $40 for per issue of a LTVP. If a visa is required, the visa fee is S$20 per issue.

The validity of a DP is tied with the validity of EP.

About Employment of DP 家 属 就 业

A DP holder is allowed to work in Singapore. The DP holder has to apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC) at the Employment Pass Department. The prospective employer is required to fill up the LOC application form.
