Ball Pythons are probably my favorite breed of serpent for their gentleness, temperment, and looks. There are however, some really awesome Ball Python morphs coming out. This pag discusses them and shows examples of some of the really great looking morphs. These pics were taken from the Snake Keepers page at www.ballpython.com.
One of my favorite morphs is the striped Ball Python. The striping can be either
genetic are made from incubation temeratures, so there are genetic stripes and
non-genetic stripes; please differentiate before buying. They run in the range of $250 to $500.
My next favorite Ball Python morph is the Piebald Ball Python. These guys are extremely rare and run in the range of $15,000 a piece. They are beautiful and if you have the money, well worth the investment.
The snake to the left is a "Ghost Phase" Ball Python. These snakes have been bred to have the same colors and patterns of normal Ball Pythons but have a gene that makes the colors look faded or that of a "ghost."
The following Balls are morphs in which the colors have been genetically hightened. They are as follows: High Contrast Ball Python, Clown Ball Python, and Jungle Ball Python.
