The following is a compilation (unauthorized by Marvel Comics) of major characters
appearing in the X-Men Universe. It is far from complete; and may contain errors, but is
accurate to the compiler's knowledge through mid-1994 [I have updated it a little]. The
characters are alphabetized by their code-names, which are followed by their real names.
All " Powers " listed are mutant in origin, unless otherwise stated. Any word both in
parentheses and quotation marks in a "Powers" entry is a distinct sound often
associated with and, in some cases, referred to as that individual's power. Thank you to
Marvel for inadvertently providing me with all this information ( and something to
occupy my time ) and thank you, the reader, for just being interested.

Brood - Inapplicable ( a.k.a. Sleazoids )
Powers: No mutant abilities. The Brood are alien life-forms which hatch their eggs inside living hosts. This allows the Brood to transform the hosts into other Brood and to assume the qualities of the host

Powers: Discharge concussive optic blasts from his eyes, can be controlled only through use of ruby quartz shielding

Powers: Telepathically affixes himself to memories of others and visually displays them
Dazzler - Alison Blaire
Powers: Convert sound energy into light/force blasts

Powers: Devastatingly powerfully telekinetic powers. Psionic blasts, teleportation, and invulnerability are among these.
Fenris - Andrea & Anrdeas Strucker (twin siblings)
Powers: Andrea (female) : Fires disintegration beam
Andreas (male) : Fires concussive force blast
These bio-electric furies are only effective when they are in physical contact with each other.

Powers: Powerful telekinesis and telepathy. (She was the clone of Jean Grey. See Grey, Jean).
Grey, Jean - Jean Grey ( erroneously thought to be the first Phoenix; prior to that, code-named Marvel Girl )

Powers - Shape changer, can change outer appearance by shredding away her outer skin

Powers: Can freeze the moisture in the air, which results in a variety of abilities
Javitz - Full name unknown ( presumably Javitz is his last name )
Powers: Enhanced strength, speed, and endurance, dead
Jubilee - Jubilation Lee
Powers: Generates explosive "fireworks" of varying power from her hands, which she can reabsorb. Potential to be one of the most powerful mutants on earth
Juggernaut - Cain Marko
Powers: No mutant powers. Superhuman strength and invulnerability are magical in origin.
Katu - Unknown ( presumably Katu )
Powers: A living conduit for atmospheric anomalies
Kleinstocks - The Kleinstock Brothers: Eric, Harlan, and Sven

Powers: Enhanced strength is non-mutant in origin ( it is actually normal strength for one of the women of the alien Shi'ar race)

Powers: A Sentinel from the future, Nimrod is equipped with highly advanced Sentinel systems, which include energy weapons (which produce concussive and/or plasma blasts), alteration of his form to appear human, self- regeneration of parts, and restructuring of itself if dismembered (all powers are mechanical in origin, and of course non-mutant); see Sentinels
Omega Red - Arkady Russovich
Powers: Death aura / spores released from his body which slowly drains life force; carbonadium coils / tentacles non- mutant in origin

Shadowcat - Katherine " Kitty " Pryde ( formerly Ariel; prior to that, code-named Sprite )

Powers: Converts sound into energy (which he is also able to channel through certain metals ), enhanced strength, agility, stamina, and reflexes. Powers are alien and non-mutant in origin.

Powers: Attributes (including strength and power) of a savage beast ( Nature of powers unknown, possibly mystical ) who craves human flesh

Wolfsbane - Rahne Sinclair
Powers: Transform into wolf or wolf / human hybrid, similar to a werewolf in appearance
Wolverine - Logan ( formerly the original Weapon X )

Powers: No known mutant powers. He uses a variety of weapons and other commodities skimmed from X-Men acquaintances of the past to stop mutant " criminals "
