NEVE CAMPBELL portrays high school student Sidney Prescott, who's getting more than her share of teen angst to cope with, after her mother was murdered a year before the new rash of killings in Woodsboro. Could she be the killer... or is she the next victim?

Campbell grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she studied at the National Ballet School of Canada. She made her acting debut at age 15 in the Toronto premiere of "Phantom of the Opera."

Campbell made her Canadian film debut in 1994 with "Paint Cans," costarring Paul Gross. Other films include "Ruskin," and "Baree." Earlier this year, she made her American feature film debut in the supernatural thriller "The Craft."

On television, Campbell plays the rebellious Julia Salinger on Fox TV's hour-long drama "Party of Five."

Campbell won the Family Film Award for Best Actress in a Television Film for her role in "The Canterville Ghost," costarring Patrick Stewart. Her other television credits include the series "Catwalk," and the made-for-TV film "I Know My Son is Alive."
