Pricing and How it Works

Session One - $100.00 (non-refundable)

You show up with 4 items that you wish to sell on Ebay.  I will teach you how to photograph them using my digital camera.  All digital cameras are about the same.  You can also take photographs with your own camera at the same time, if you would like to compare the photos.  This way, you can practice saving the photos in the format that you need in order to upload them successfully on Ebay.  When  we finish the first session, you will be ready to list your items. 

Session One can take anywhere from approximately 2 to 5 hours, depending upon how computer and camera savvy you are.  You will finish this session and know:

  • what types of items to sell you should be looking for;

  • how to photograph items using only your digital camera and sunlight

  • how to save the photos in a larger and smaller web format (92 dpi and 72 dpi)

  • you will have the photos emailed to you so you can have them on your own computer at the end of the session.  I will retain copies that we will need in Session 3.

  • if you do not have an email when you arrive, we will set one up for you at Google email.

Session Two - $100 (non-refundable)

During Session Two, we will take care of the set-up of all that you need to sell on Ebay.  We will set up the following:

  • your ebay account

  • your paypal account

  • your online mailing account with the post office

  • your google email (if you do not already have one)

  • your excess sheet to keep track of your auctions and payments

In order to set up these accounts, they will ask for a credit card, so please bring it with you to the training session.  If you want paypal to make direct deposit into your bank account, you will need the routing number, which is on the bottom of any of your checks, so bring it with you.  Papal will send you checks, but they charge for them.  I have been having paypal deposit money directly into my account for over 8 years and I have never had a problem.

During the time we are setting up your accounts, you will need to note your user names, and passcodes.  You will be given privacy when you enter any personal banking information.  I will instruct you how to change your passcode before you leave.  I will not take it personally.  In today's world, I don't trust anyone either!  

Session Three - $75.00 (non-refundable)

During the last session, the following will be accomplished:
  • I will launch one of your auctions, instructing you during the process. 
  • you will then launch the remaining 3 items on Ebay.  I will be sitting next to you to make sure you can complete the entire process.
  • I will instruct you using an excel sheet on how to keep track of your orders and your payments.
  • I will instruct you on how to order free priority boxes from the post office and will also give you another discount source for other boxes as well.
  • I will show you how to use recycled newspaper, old mail and a shredder to create a professional looking and safe-for-mailing package.
  • I will show you and email you a file that has Reminders that you can print out that goes over all of the processes in case you get mixed up when you are on your own. 
You can take the sessions one at a time on different days, or you can take them all on one day, if you feel you can take in and retain that much information.  It is up to you.
