Tristan was born the son of a wealthy Water deep merchant. His first few years were spent in growing up on the City of Splenders under the watch of his eldery tutor he began to learn the ways of Magic. During is twelth year of life he went on one of his fathers trading Carvans to east of the DragonWall. It was across the Dragon Wall when Beshaba made her presence known. After the attack there were few left. And even worse the supplies had be lost. In the end most of the surviors went their seperat ways know that little future was left with the carvan. One warrior took Tristan with him to a local village, meaning it for a stop over before starting back for Waterdeep. However the two were soon to be seperated. There was an attack on the village by raiders and the warrior lost his life defending it. Left alone in a strange land Tristan was adopted by a family unable to have childern of thier own. it was form his adopted father he learned Martial Arts and the way of the warrior. However, that was not to be Tristan's true callig, for he could not forget the feel of Mystra's embrace. So he sought out a master, so that he could once again study the ways of magic. And so he became a warrior mage, weilding spell and sword in service of the people of his village and the surrending lands. In time he begain to make a new life there, even settling down with a girl, and making plans for a family. It was not until he went up against a powerful guild of assassins and thieves that is skills were put to the limit. It was during his one man war against this guild that an assassin was sent after his beloved. He was unable to save her, but he took his revenge on assassin. Then his one man war became personal. He went on not caring if he lived or died. Tymora must have been holding his hand, though the adventure. However not only did he live, he managed to work his way up though the ranks of the guild, leaving a path so bloody, any who follwed might slip. The learder turned out to be a very high placed lord. And after the battle. He knew he had to leave, cause none would have beleived the lord of wrong doing. And so it was with a Sword, his spells, and a little bit if luck that Tristan made his way back to the other side of the Dragon Wall. He picked up a couple of new allies on his way back to Waterdeep. Yet standing on a mountain over looking the city he worders. Did he make the right choice, is it really possible to go home again..... | |
