Frederick (Fred) George Beisser is the oldest son of the late Frederick T. Beisser of Plymouth, Wisconsin and the late Edith Hulda Hoffmann of Town of Lima, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.

Fred is a 1961 graduate of Sheboygan Falls Public High School. He was employed in his home town by Curt G. Joa, Inc. for two years and in 1963 he enlisted in the United State Air Force. He served his country for 25 years in various accounting, budgeting and financial management positions in Turkey, Germany, Japan and in the United States. He retired from the Air Force with rank of Major in January 1989.

During his service he was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal (four times)as well as Expert Marksmanship Medal for both rifle and pistol. While with the Air Force he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo, Colorado and a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

In 1968 he married the late Mechtild Susanne Elisabeth Wienhuis of Gelsenkirchen, Germany. They are the parents of two children, Alice Margrit and Frederick Johan Beisser. In 1983 M. Susanne E. Beisser died in Blankenrath, Germany in a fatal traffic accident.

In 1990 Fred was appointed Chief Financial Officer of DCX, Inc., Franktown, Colorado, and later promoted to Vice President--Finance & Administration. Subsequently in 2002 he was appointed Senior Vice President--Finance with PlanGraphics, Inc. of Frankfort, Kentucky and is assigned to its administrative office in Parker, Colorado where he is also a resident. He retired from that position in 2009.

In late 2006 Fred was appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Elbert County Library District. When the library district formed a foundation to assist in accumulating funds for a future library building in Elizabeth, Colorado, Fred was elected president of the Elbert County Libraries Foundation in 2009.

Fred was appointed to the board of directors of the Colorado Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce in September of 2009 and provides that organization with public relations assistance.

Fred also holds a PhD from American International University of Canoga Park, California, and is a Colorado certified public accountant. He is fluent in English and German and also speaks Turkish.
