These are some WebTV trick codes that can be entered while the terminal is off. To fo these, face the sensor of the keyboard or remote towards the sensor on the terminal and type in the following codes to do different things. There are discriptions to every code below........

Press 7264 to search for local numbers toll-free.

These are some WebTV URL tricks. You do them by pressing the goto button on the WebTV keyboard or remote and typing in one of the codes below.

Press the goto button and erase the http:// and type: file://romcache/index.htm to get the WebTV images that are built in.

You can type also type: file://romcache/music.html to get the WebTV's built in music.

---

While on a website press the goto key on your WebTV keyboard or remote. Then take one of the /'s off of the http://........It should look like this when you do it.........http:/.........and it will take you to the webpage of the site's server....

Press Go To, erase http:// and enter mailto: It will take you straight to the screen where you can write an e-mail

Press Go To, erase http:// and type in these to go to different WebTV network pages: wtv-tricks:explore, wtv-tricks:info, wtv-tricks:tricks, wtv-tricks:chat, wtv-tricks:addressbook, wtv-setup:/setup, wtv-tricks:search, wtv-tricks:dialingoptions, wtv-tricks:favorites, wtv-tricks:mail, wtv-tricks:aroundtown, wtv-tricks:channel, wtv-tricks:wecare-formmail

While in an IRC room, press Go To, erase http:// and type javascript:window.open ('wtv-setup:accounts') to edit info for your accounts.

While in an IRC room, press Go To, erase http:// and type javascript:document.bgColor="color" to change the color around the border of the text area.

If you are going to a www.com address, you dont have to type the whole thing. Just type the name (ex. hotmail) and WebTV will fill in the rest (www.hotmail.com).

Press the goto button on your WebTV keyboard or remote. Then erase http:// and type file://rom/htmls/connecting.html this clears your cache
