A fairytale about a dancing angel

This story is written by me, it's totally my imagination, I don't know if that kind of thing has ever happened. Anyway I hope you'll enjoy reading the story and remeber that you're not allowed to present this story in any other location on internet or publish it anywhere else.

There has been an ancient legend, going around the world for centuries and centuries to come. Giving people joy and hope through all their worries, problems and troubles the story fascinates everyone who hears it. It’s a simple but beautiful story about an angel who came down from Heaven to bring people something they will never forget. And so the story goes...

Once upon a time in a poor and miserable village there lived a married couple with their thirteen children. The family was always happy and grateful though they hardly had any food or clothes. One very cold and stormy winter night someone knocked on the door of their small cottage. Though they weren’t expecting anyone to come and surely didn’t have any room or food for tramps or the homeless, they opened the door. As the door opened, a dazzling light filled the whole room and a voice of an angel said "Take care of her, she shall be the one who helps to save this world." The angels disappeared and the only thing left was a small brown basket on the veranda. They carried the basket inside and laid it on the table. A heavenly brightness almost blinded them when they pulled the linen away from the face of a beautiful sleeping child who had a piece of a diamond hanging from a chain around her neck. While watching the sleeping little one they were stunned by the silent song of angels.
Years went by, the child grew up as a part of the family. People were fascinated by her beauty and kindness and wished her welcome everywhere she went. She entertained people and touched their hearts with her wonderful dances, which were told to heal all the wounds there is or ever will be. Though time went by her beauty never faded or dances expired. In addition to all her gifts, she was also given a big family, the most beautiful children that had ever been seen. Still she toured around dancing in every corner of the towns, not passing by even the shabbiest places. When the word of her arrival spread among the people, everyone got happy and wanted to see the angel which was supposed to bring them all they were needing. Then one day an evil mister stepped out of the crowd when she was dancing, tore off the diamond jewel from her and run away. He got only few metres away when suddenly the whole sky turned black and a lightning stroked him down. After that day the angel started to fade away, her hairs were falling apart, her rosy cheeks started to turn white, the light from her eyes disappeared. She got skinnier from day to day and finally all the glory was gone. One beautiful autumn evening she finally passed away, after she had closed her eyes for the last time, the sky was almost rented and it started raining like never before. Her coffin was laid down into the grave, the tombstone was covered by falling leaves and her children were screaming her name as the whole world grieved her departure. People though that the angel was gone forever, just because of greed and envy, buried for good, and that all the beauty and dances were gone as the greenery of the summer. But how wrong they were… The winter went by, the spring woke up everyone, birds were singing again, flowers were growing more beautifully, brooks were streaming stronger. It made people to realize that though she isn’t there anymore, she isn’t gone because of the piece of diamond, she will be always there, her dances and the joy she brought will always cheer people up. What she gave was more permanent than any diamond, any human being, it was something immortal, eternal, something which will always stay and grow from the greenest hill like the tree next to her grave, the tree of life. People got up from their sorrow, through their tears they saw the new beginning and danced on and on as the children sang the song of the Queen of the dance again and again never forgetting the angel named after the light which shall lead us all through the darkness, Eleanora.
Still people say that like her is the kingdom of Heaven… Nora’s Heaven…

She danced in the morning when the world was young
She danced on the moon and the stars and the sun
She came down from Heaven and I danced on Earth
Under the shining stars she had her birth.

Dance, dance, whatever you may be
I am the Queen of the dance, said she
I'll lead you all, whatever you may be
And I'll lead you all in the dance, said she

She danced on a day when the sky turned black
It's hard to dance with the devil on your back
They buried her body and they thought she'd be gone
But she is the light and the dance goes on…
