Are you man enough to be called (gentle)man?

This is an invitation and a challenge to all the men of the world, to cast your mind on the question: "What does it mean, to be a man?"

I do not speak as an authority, but as some one who feels that there is more to life than meets the eye. To me, life is an adventure, in which I am trying to find out what it is that I am supposed to do with my life and how I am supposed to be in it. I feel that one of my tasks in life is to find out which qualities I want to promote and take further.

For me, a big part of the mystery and the adventure of life is the exploration of the man-woman mystery, and especially what it means to be a man. I know that there will be some people saying: "There is no difference between men and ladies", but I would say that there is a big difference between man and ladies. Not that one of them is better than the other, only that they are different. You could say that the man is getting new, and the lady would check if it is valid and then if it is, refine it.

The man would build the house and the lady would refine it into a home.

A few indicative examples:

I would ask you to not immediately move on, but spend some time with these indicative examples, reflecting not only on what they might say, (and immediately agreeing or disagreeing), but to also reflect upon what what it says would say. You might find that upon further reflection, these indicators put you on a road to wisdom and would suggest certain behaviors that would actually not fit for a real man.

To me, these examples indicate that a lady is a very special human, who has the possibility to hold the qualities and standards of life. It is my opinion that in the current times there is often little consideration to how they would need to be approached and what attitude would be fitting towards them. I would very much like to see a world in which a lady would be able to go where she needs to go, without having to fear for her life. A world where her service to the planet would be recognised and appreciated.

I want to work for a world where our children can feel safe and have a future, and I believe that it can be done, but only when we men allow ladies to be Ladies.

So my challenge to you men is: "Are you a gentlemen, who tries to make a safe world, a world where beauty can abide, or are you a brute who thinks he knows all the answers and is the ruler of the world?"
