“I really don't feel like going to Millenium, I was there on Friday.” Ritchie said. "C'mon what’ll I do without you, it's just gonna be Jacqui and Abs acting all gross and Katie's bringing her cousin, she might be cute.” Amber said. "Well ok,pick you up at 9:00?” Ritchie said. "Yeah that'll be great, see ya.”

“By the way I forgot to tell you that Abs and Jacqui blew us off , they said they wanted to go out." Ritchie told Amber as they drove to Millenium. “It’s ok, probably better this way." Amber said. He suspected something was going on between Amber and Abs or Jacqui. Well maybe they'd had a fight or something, it really wasn’t his buisiness to pry. They reached Millenium and went inside. "I guess Katie and Adrienne aren't here yet." Amber said. “Yeah I guess, let's go sit down." He said. . the club was packed as usual, there were loads of people from school. Luckily Bianca wasn't one of em. Just then Katie came in with a tall blond who looked a little familiar but he couldn't really see well with all the people there. Katie waved at them and as they came over Ritchie got a clear view of her cousin's face and he knew exactly who she was. "Ritchie,Amber, this is my cousin Adrienne, by the way where are Jacqui and Abs?” Katie asked. “They blew us off." Amber said. “Oh well, we'll have a great time without them.” Katie said. “Oh my god, Ritchie? I haven’t seen you in ages." Adrienne said. "You two know each other?” Katie asked. “We’ve met.” Ritchie replied. "I think I'll go fix my makeup, c'mon Amber.” Katie said. They went leaving Ritchie and Adrienne alone."Foxy what are you doing here?" Ritchie asked. "It's Adrienne, Ritchie. Adrienne Brooks, I'm Katie's cousin.” She said. "What do ya mean Adrienne Brooks? What happened to your last name?" He asked. "Didn't you get the invitation? I’m married. Adrienne told him. "What?!!? When did you get married? This is too much for me, I'm leaving." “Hey where did Ritchie go?" Katie asked coming back from the bathroom. “He left” Adrienne said. “What happened did you 2 fight or something and why did he look weird when he saw you?" Katie asked. “It’s a long story do you really wanna know?” Adrienne asked. "Yeah of course." Katie and Amber replied. Adrienne took a deep breath. “Ok here goes. Remember when you lived in the old neighborhood and I was 15?” “Yeah I used to hang out with you I probably annoyed you didn't I?" Katie said. "actually I loved hanging out with you. Anyway, I didn't tell you at the time cuz I thought you were too young to understand, but me and Rich were going out." "Oh my god that is too weird to think of you with a guy like him." Amber said. “I know, my parents didn't really like him either. Well we were going out and we umm had sex.” “You and Ritchie??!!" Katie said. "I can't imagine him having sex with anyone.” “Let me finish. So we slept together and I was feeling really weird throwing up and feeling sick all the time.” “You were pregnant?" Amber guessed. “Yeah I was. And you can imagine how freaked I was, I mean, there I was, I’d just turnedd 15 and I was pregnant so I thought about having an abortion. I wanted to talk to Ritchie about our options so I decided to go to his house cuz he didn't even know I was pregnant so I needed to tell him before doing anything." Adrienne said. “So did you go talk with him?" Katie asked. "No. I went to his house and I saw him kissing another girl. I was so freaked out that I ran to the clinic and got the abortion. After that I went to my best friend Rachel’s house who also happened to be Ritchie’s friend and told her everything. She swore she woudn't tell anyone and I believed her but after a few weeks we had this big fight and told Ritchie. He was real mad and we got into this big fight and broke up. After that he moved away and I never saw him again. And when I was 16 I met Zach and had his baby and I sent Ritchie an invitation to our wedding but he never came.” Adrienne finished. "Wow that sounds like one of those tv shows." Amber said. "I know I probably seem really bitchy cuz of what I did but I felt that I didn't have a choice cuz I was only 15 and my boyfriend cheated on me. I had no idea you and Amber knew him." Adrienne added. “I don’t think he ever forgave me and I don't know if I should be telling you this so could you do me a favor and keep quiet?” “Sure.”

Adrienne’s story was interesting but half of Amber’s mind was thinking about something else. Jacqui and Abs were probably at the movies right now, making out. She was so frustrated. Why did Jacqui have to get him. Her mind went back to Adrienne’s story. She had gotten mad at Ritchie cuz he'd cheated on her. Almost any girl would get mad at a guy who cheated, and she was positive Jacqui would be pissed off if Abs cheated on her. But she wasn’t sure if Jacqui would believe her if she just said Abs was cheating. And she'd probably go and ask him, and then he'd know she was trying to break them up. She needed to think of something.
