"Katie phone for you." Her mom called. She really didn't feel like talking on the phone right now, after her disastrous date with J. Oh well she picked up the phone. "Hey." "Hi Katie, its Adrienne."
"Oh Hi Adrienne, how are you?"
"I'm doing ok so are Zach and Angelina."
"It's great to hear from you so why are you calling?"
"Zach told me you and J got together."
“Not anymore, after he found out I was 14."
"I should’ve warned you about him, he likes older girls."
"Well at least I found out by myself."
"Anyways, Zach had to go to Italy for some modeling job so I was wondering if maybe me and Angel could come to stay with you and your parents for a few days."
"Sure, that’ll be great, when do you wanna come?"
"Maybe early next week, is that ok?"
"I think so but I need to ask mom and dad first so we’ll talk later k?"

Melanie
"Ritchie, I don't think this was such a good idea after all." Melanie said. Ritchie had taken her to a club to help forget about Scott blowing her off again and for him to forget about Bianca and Nikki. At least that's what he said. She wasn't having the best time and she was constantly thinking about Scott. What was he doing now? They were probably alone at his house. What if she made moves on him or something? She was probably sitting close to him looking up at him and fluttering those annoying green eyes. Then she'd press her body against his and they'd kiss… It made her sick, she needed to get outta the club. "Mel!! Hello! Are you still here?" She heard Ritchie say. "Sorry I just thought about something else for a minute." She said. "Scott?" He guessed. "Yeah." She replied. “You really gotta take ya mind off him for a while c'mon you wanna dance?" He offered. "No, I think I just need to get home and call Scott to see how he's doing." She said. "Ok, I'll drive you." He said. "Thanks Ritchie, you're the best."
MEANWHILE
Lacey
"Bianca you have to do some work, you can't make me do the whole project." Bianca was really annoying her, she was sitting on the floor reading one of Lacey's mags and not doing anything in the project. "Maybe if you took some breaks I’d help you out." Bianca replied. "Ok let's take a break now, then you work for 2 hours like I did." Lacey said. Bianca shrugged. "Fine with me. Say do you know anything about Scott and Melanie cheating?" "No, and even if I did it's none of your business Bianca. Why do you wanna know? You wanna break them up like you did to Nikki and Rich?" Lacey said. "oh please, are you blaming me that Ritchie's gay? It's not my fault he chose a different sexual orientation than the rest of us." Bianca said. "Very good Bianca, you learned some new words. Too bad you don’t know what they mean." Lacey said sarcastically. "And don't tell me you didn't make this up cuz I know you better than Nikki and probably better than Ritchie and the only reason you made this story up is cuz Ritchie didn't want you. Am I right?" "No." Bianca said. She did have some pride not to admit she made the whole thing up.
Scott
He let Steph in his house. "What took you so long?" "Sorry I had to walk cuz no one was home to drive me." She replied. He couldn’t help noticing how sexy she looked even when she was just dressed casually in jeans and a tank top. "C'mon in." He said. "You want anything to eat, drink?" He offered. "No thanks. Should we get started or what?" She said. "Yeah of course, where were we?" He asked. "We just looked at our, well actually my notes from class.” She said. "Well what should we do now?" He asked. "We're supposed to do 5 chapters with some sub-chapters in the actual work right? We should organize the notes we took and look at some books I brought from the library on the subject." She started talking and Scott's mind drew a blank as she talked about the history stuff. She talked and talked, this was boring and he couldn't help staring at her. He felt himself drawn to her. He really wanted to kiss her. No, you can't do this, remember Mel your girlfriend who trusts you? Don't do this. He thought. She finished talking. "So did you get anything I said?" She asked. "Why are you looking at me weird?” don’t do this Scott. He warned himself. But he just couldn't hold back this time. He’d been trying to forget about her but it was impossible. He leaned in to kiss her.

"Wait Ritchie, I have a better idea could you drop me off at Scott’s?" She asked as they passed Scott's house. "Sure." He backed up the car. And Mel got out.
Steph
She was caught up in the moment but she couldn’t do this. "Scott what did you do that for?" She asked pulling away from their kiss. "Sorry." He apologized. "I sorta lost it for a minute." "You sure did, what did you think that you could cheat on Mel?" She started to gather her stuff. "First break up with her, then we’ll talk but you can't just kiss me when you're her boyfriend. I’m leaving now; we'll finish this another time, for now just think who you wanna be with me or Mel. Think about it and I'm sure you'll decide what's best for you. Bye." Took her stuff and left. She met Melanie outside. "Hi Mel! What are you doing here?" "I just wanted to drop by and say hi to Scott, are you finished with your thing?" Mel asked. "Yeah I was just leaving, Scott’s inside. I guess I’ll see you in school on Monday bye." Steph said. "Bye." Melanie replied.
Scott
"Mel, what are you doing here?" Scott asked. "I met Steph outside, she said you were finished for today, so I decided to drop by.” She replied. "You look distracted, got something on your mind?" Scott sighed. "No, I’m just stressed out cuz of school and all ya know." "I’ll make you forget about school and your stupid project." Melanie said kissing him. "I’m not in the mood.” He pushed her away. “How come?” Mel asked. "C’mon Scott, tell me what’s up." "It’s nothing." Scott said. "Scott you can’t hide stuff from me, something’s wrong isn’t it? Tell me what’s wrong." She urged. "Look Melanie, I told you I’m ok, I’m a little stressed, that’s all now will you leave it. He said annoyed. "Just cuz I didn’t kiss you doesn’t mean something’s wrong." He added. "OK, I’ll leave now.” Mel looked like she was about to cry as she left. After she left he thought about how stupid he’d just acted, he was trippin over this whole thing with Steph that he’d taken it out on Mel. She’d been nothing but super sweet to him ever since day one and it was only now he realized just how deeply he loved her. But on the other hand they was Steph, she was cute and all, but he had to face the facts: he barely knew her. But they could get to know each other better if they went out. This whole thing was too frustrating. But he had to make a decision once and for all and he knew what it was gonna be. No matter what, Mel would always be there for him and he couldn’t let go.
