"Hey Sean, whatcha doing tonight?" Abs asked. "I got a date.” Sean said. "With Jacqui?" He asked. "Nope, Melyssa Hamilton." Sean replied. "Really what about jacqui?" Abs asked. "We're not together anymore." "For real?" asked Abs a little too eagerly. "Yeah for real, why ya so excited?" Sean asked. "Nothing really, I gotta go find someone now." Abs said running off. He walked over to where Jacqui was standing by her locker. "Hey Jacqui." "Hey Abs." She smiled at him. "You got any special plans tonight?" He asked. She thought for a minute. "I don't think so, why ya asking?" "Wanna come to a movie or something?" He asked. "Sure, wait are you asking me out?" She asked surprised. "Yeah." He replied. “What happened to Lauren?" She asked curiously. "What Lauren?" He replied. "You know, Lauren Moore, Bianca’s friend. The one ya going out with." She reminded him. "I never went out with Lauren. Well I did once, but nothing happened where'd you get that crazy idea anyway?" He asked. "Amber told me." She responded. "Amber’s probably just confused, so what movie should we see?" He asked. Jacqui raised her eyebrows. "What makes you think I said yes?" "Didn’t you?” He asked. "Ok, how bout we go see Scream 3, I heard it's real good." She suggested. "Great pick you up round 10?" "Yeah."
Mel
"So basically you're blowing me off on Friday again right?" Melanie said in a flat tone when Scott finished talking. "Sorry baby, I feel real bad bout it but me and Steph gotta do this project." He apologized. "What did you two do yesterday go out?" She asked. "No but we barely did anything in the project, we mostly watched TV." He said. "Sure you didn't do anything else with her?" Mel asked. "Like what?" "Oh I don't know." She shrugged. "Maybe cheat on your girlfriend?" "Mel baby, you know I love you and I'd never do that." He said. She gazed into his eyes. "You sure." He pulled her close and kissed her. "Of course I'm sure."
Abs
"Wow, that was such a great movie way better than 1 and 2 don't you think?" Jacqui said. "I haven't been on a date since Sean and I broke up." She added quietly. "Really? Why not? I bet tons of guys have asked you." He said. "Some guys did ask me but I turned them down, I don’t know I guess I like knowing guys before going out with them." Jacqui told him. Abs pulled his car into Jacqui’s Driveway. "I guess our date is over huh?" She said. "Why don't we sit here for a while and umm, talk." Abs suggested. "Abs are you gonna make a move on me?" Jacqui
I can't believe I'm sitting in Abs' car kissing him. Jacqui thought. This was weird. Not too long ago she'd been with Sean kissing him like this. Well things changed, and right now Sean was the farthest thing from her mind. Now she was with Abs and she was definatly enjoying kissing him.
Katie
"See ya on Friday." Katie said. "Bye." She hung up the phone. It had been J. She couldn’t believe he'd actually called her. And they were going on a date on Friday. She couldn't wait. She had to call up Lacey or somebody to talk.
Amber
Amber was sitting in her room and thinking about whether or not she should tell Abs about her feelings before he found someone else and she wouldn’t have a chance. If he liked her too, they could start a wonderful relationship but there was always the possibility that he wouldn't have feelings for her, which was more likely considering he was dating girls and talking non-stop about jacqui. If he didn’t have the same feelings for her then their friendship would be ruined and Amber didn't want to lose him as a friend, he was the best friend she'd ever had. Well she might as well tell him before she lost the nerve. She dialed his number. "Hello?" It was his mom. "Hi Mrs. Breen, its Amber is Abs around?" She asked. “Sorry honey, I'm afraid he's out I assumed he was going with a group and you were with him, I guess not." Mrs. Breen said. "If you don't mind me asking, who’s he out with?" Amber asked. "I’m pretty sure he said he was going out with Jacqui."
