Don't let the guy looks fool you, that is a woman, and a very powerful and bitchy one at that. Soceress Adel ruled Esthar with an iron fist until Laguna and company tricked her, and then trapped her and sent her out into space. Well after Rinoa freed Adel in the Lunar Cry, she fell down to Esthar, where Seifer grabbed her and hide her so she could fully awaken. This all being what Ultimecia wanted him to do. Anyways, after your final battle with Seifer, he steal's Rinoa and takes her to where he hid Adel. By this time, Adel is fully awake, and ready to be set free. Seifer pushes Rinoa into Adel as she breaks out of her prison. In doing so, Adel junctions Rinoa to herself. Making this fight a pure te bitch. When this battle begins I sugest that you cast a Regan on "Rinoa", not "Adel". So Rinoa can regan her HP from time to time. Because when Adel gets weak, she'll use absorb and steal Rinoa's HP to restore her own. And another thing, you must not kill Rinoa during this battle, or else it's GAME OVER. Adel uses some very powerful spells in this fight. So be on your guard. DO NOT. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE GF IN THIS BATTLE. GF's will hurt both Rinoa and Adel, and you're trying to help Rinoa, not kill her. Also use a Meltdown spell on Adel, this will bring her Vit(Vitality) to 0, and that helps out alot. Do not use limit breaks that will hurt both of them at the same time, because as I said, you kill off Rinoa, it's game over. After you've kicked Adel's ass and saved Rinoa, Laguna, and Odine will start the time compression process, and send you to the time compressed world a.k.a Ultimecia's Time Frame. Save Rinoa, kick Adel's ass then onto Ultimecia. Enjoy.
