Click on the eXtra menu key to bring up the menu. Now click on Edit Database.
This should bring up your data base editor. If nothing happens you need to
download and install the data base.
Adding words to the kick list  To begin type the message
you want viper to respond with when the word or phrase is entered into chat
room. Use your imagination to create rules for the room, kick messages, spec
messages, or anything else that you need. Important note: Your Message ID
displays the number of the message you have entered. From 1 to 46. 1 thru 15 are
kick messages. You can assign different messages by entering a new message and
pressing the v--Add--v button. The Data Base Editor will assign a Message ID
number for each message. You can not skip a Message ID number. If you want to
skip the kick messages to enter a response/warn message then you can place the
word blank or another such word that can be edited later. To change a message
you have already entered highlight the message by using the Messages arrows
looked at the top right. Once you have highlighted the message push the
Change^-to-v button. Use the Default-^ button to reset to the original messages.
Now that you have chosen a message you are ready to Insert the word or message
that the bot will respond to. Ok now that you have chosen your kick message your are ready to insert the word or phrase that viper will respond to. For this example I have used Word as my kick word. You can use any word or combination of words. Type your word or words into the box provided ( where the red circle is ). Now chose a Message ID number by typing the number into the white box just above the Delete button. This will be the number of the message that will be used. For example: If someone types Word into chat viper will kick giving the message No profanity in the room please. Thank you!. If I had placed the number 2 in the box it would have given the Please watch your language in the room, Thank You! message. Hint: You can use the * as a wildcard. This means if you placed the * mark like so http://* it would kick any message that had http:// in it. I use the wildcard to ensure people who advertise their room in my room will be banned. ie http://chat.msn.com/*. Ok now that you have typed your word into the box provided you need to use either the Add button ( if you want to add a new word or phrase ) or the <- Change button if you want to change an existing word or phrase that you have highlighted. If you have followed the steps correctly the word or phrase will appear in the Words box to the left.
The next step is to turn on your Profanity Warn/Kick. To do this first go to your icon tray located at the bottom right of your screen. Click on the viper icon. Now click on Show Control Board. This will bring up your Main Control Board for Viper.
After you have opened the Control panel click on the Kick/Warn tab marked in Green Now check the boxes for the type of messages sent. If you want viper to respond to a word that is on your list that is typed into main chat click the Privmsg button. If you want to include responding to a word in your whisper click the whisper box. These boxes are marked in Purple. Now click the boxed marked Profanity W/K marked in Red.
