Biology 445 - Developmental Biology
Welcome to Developmental Biology (Bio 445). I have revamped this course to not only include information about early development, but also be useful as a foundational course to help you with the human development course you will encounter in your professional school curriculum. Over the semester, we will explore the cellular and genetic mechanisms which shape a single cell into complex organisms, such as the chick and human embryo. We will spend a great deal of time for each of the developing systems of the human body and examine their organogenesis into functional systems. |
