Biology 121 - Concepts of Biology
Welcome to Biology 121. This course is designed for non-biology majors. Over the course of the next semester, we will explore a wide variety of biological concepts, molecular pathways, cellular organization and operation as well as the basis for our classification system for the living world around us all. I hope to lead you to a better understanding of the molecules of life, different types of organisms, plants and animals. It is my hope that this course will prepare you for a future where you can make informed desicions about your surroundings, your own health and well being and have a deeper appreciation for the world in which we live. |
